Ephemera (2008)

Another in my flame fractal series that includes "Episteme", "Gnosis" and "Riven". These are all technically "2D" renders since Apophysis doesn't allow you move things around in the Z-Axis but I've endeavored to give them all a 3D appearance. The color palette in this particular render is unlike anything you will find in my gallery.

Fractals are wonderful to explore because they have a natural complexity to them that is difficult to fake with 3D polygons.
