This is the first piece in a series that explores using simple shapes and color palettes to convey a moment of elemental coming-together. Here, I imagine, heavy waves of fire and water captured in the moment that they crash together through some sort of chaotic torrent of circumstances.
All of my art is created in a generative art program that I built in the programming language, Processing. Designs come together through a mixture of computed randomized values, variable values controlled via the keyboard, and "painted" onto the digital canvas by hand using a Wacom tablet or mouse. Every individual piece I create can never be recreated in exactly the same way ever again.
The original file is 19,200 × 10,800 pixels at 72DPI, allowing it to be used for personal large-scale digital and print applications.
All pieces in this series will be exclusive to the makersplace platform. The original file will never be shared in any other way on any other platform.
