El Vaquero

Welcome to "Between Reality and the Imaginary," a collection where the familiar meets the extraordinary through the lens of AI surreal photography/synthography.

As a Mexican-born, now U.S.-based graphic designer, my passion for surrealism and photography has its roots in my childhood. I fondly recall the captivating sights and scenes of my homeland, captured through my ever-present camera.

"El Vaquero", embodies this merger of reality and the surreal. A Mexican cowboy's image is transformed with a floating, detached horse head - a nod to the extraordinary within the commonplace.

This collection is an exploration of my past, a nostalgic journey back to Mexico. Using AI, I'm able to create new photos, adding a surreal twist to my cherished memories. This isn't just art; it's a deeply personal reflection of my cultural roots. Step in, and experience the magic of Mexico through my eyes.
