Close-up of an eye / Project I did back in 2015 / I had the idea to take macro photographs of people that I knew. Friends. The photographs were quite a challenge to create due to the reflection of light that bounced back through the iris. Big pupils, small pupils, dried-out pupils. In post-edit, I brushed every stroke manually to make it look as if it were painted.
