Description
Çanakkale is a town located in very western Turkey and Dardanelles strait. It is famous for the battles that took place during WWI. Fishing is one of the most popular activities around Çanakkale; almost every local has done fishing at least once in their lifetime. Taking a 20-minute ferry ride from the city center, you can reach Kilitbahir, a small village on the Gallipoli peninsula. This particular photo was taken on a balmy winter afternoon on the coast of Kilitbahir.
