During NFTNYC I was in a tall building when a rare earthquake struck causing mass panic as they were blasting tsunami warning sirens in all the skyscrapers in the area I was staying. This piece was partially inspired by that as well as minimalist and brutalist architecture with a touch of the profanely weird.
Created frame by frame in photoshop, finished with ezgif. It took 8 layers and 34 frames. I used the polygonal lasso to segment out the building then arranged the pieces bumping them and making them shift side to side then tumble before sending in the hand to clean up the mess.
