Dusk - Detail

The end results are based on a computational transition from the analog world to the digital one. Starting from a picture, each pixel is sorted either vertically or horizontally, based on some of its properties. This then lays the foundation of a generative algorithm that “walks” on the canvas and leaves trails behind, blending and interweaving what were before perfectly sorted pixels.
