Every performance is a small life, requiring months of preparation for the sake of a few minutes on stage. You go out for two minutes and it's like time stops, and then it's over. What did I have time to feel, did I have time to savor that moment or did I waste it on fear and doubt. Backstage, all that remains is the desire to return, but the opportunity slips away. Just like on stage, in real life we prepare for important moments, simple or complex, that pass quickly. The stage teaches me to appreciate every second and not to miss the opportunity to experience, feel and live every event. Every moment is a lesson in how not to miss out on a life that goes by so quickly.
