"Siegfried entered the Dragon's lair. The once great hall of a dwarven city was little more than a crumbling ruin. The inhabitants had been driven away by the creature centuries ago. While the Dragon slept, Siegfried made his approach. Treading as lightly as he could in heavy plate, Siegfried made his way to the middle of the hall. The Creature grunted and snorted, a couple of sparks flying out of its nostrils as it remained oblivious to his presence. He was determined to slay the creature by whatever means possible, preferably the easy way; eviscerating it with his sword of black iron. Such a deed would earn him eternal glory, a chest full of gold, title of Lord and a vast portion of land. That was how the King, whose kingdom was relentlessly terrorized by the Dragon, was going to reward a brave heart able to defeat the beast. One misstep and a bone cracked underfoot. The Dragon awoke with a terrible roar, causing the crumbling walls of the ancient great hall to rain debris down upon them. Like a bronze statue, Siegfried froze as one massive eye focused on him and the weight of his mistake cause his courage to faulter… but only for a moment. "No,” Siegfried whispered. “This will not be my end…” His eyes scanned the area, settling on a broken column at the beast's rear. If he could make his way there and get to the creature’s belly, he could still slay the bastard. Setting his resolve to iron, Siegfried darted forward, into the unknown, whilst the Dragon got ready to spit fire..."
