A storm battered Red-Faced Meadowhawk clings to a Queen Anne's Lace bloom. Torn wings are dotted with rain droplets, and its body illuminated by the sunlight emerging from behind rain clouds. Exploring the space around the dragonfly, by investigating both the posterior and anterior parts of the body amplifies the stillness of the creature, unmoving and recovering from a sudden downpour. The stem of another bloom acts as a frame, anchoring the dragonfly in the space. (Sympetrum obtrusum - Daucus carota)

Having spent a year in the space as a minting artist as of October 12, these last few weeks have been a time of reflection. A lot has changed for me creatively and I am finally able to access and actively participate in a beautiful global art community. I have met and volunteered alongside some of the most creative and committed people I have known who are trying to make the world a better place through art, tech, community and equity justice. I have had the honour of my work being collected by people I admire and I have collected in turn. I am excited for what comes next and am looking forward to exploring my many interests and intersecting mediums freely. Thank you to everyone I have met here.
