Drag me Down

Digital painting made in 2019

I created this surreal artwork with the message in my mind that negative thoughts can drag you down into darkness. Instead of growing and picking yourself up fighting demons, it's easy to let yourself drown into misery...

I started to draw hands pulling down the head and came to the idea of turning one hand into a small growing tree. The hands at the top are positive thoughts that wanted to help out.
