I am an artist interested in color and I have mainly investigated the power of certain color tones to summon desire and happiness. I like to think of my artwork as a device for reflecting natural aesthetic experiences.
The main themes of my works are based on conversations about time and the concept of movement as conditions of possibility to generate critical thinking about life in general.
In this work of expanded digital painting, I reflect on the imprint and the fluid stroke, how specific contracts that allow us to modern pigments and technology manage to bring us closer to the idea of vibration, to the concept of drag as a refuge of forms and processes in which we can experience freedom, creative freedom and freedom of thought. The work is open to interpretation between screens of semitones for printing, haze and the background of analogical heritage.
Dracula is the 2nd track of the 2002 Gorillaz compilation album "G-Sides". It originally appeared as a B-side track on the single "Clint Eastwood", and it is considered the most popular Phase 1 B-side track, having the most number of recordings and performaces out of all and being featured as a bonus track on some re-releases of their first album "Gorillaz" in a few countries.
Lyrics "(I am a vampire!)
(Rest is good for the blood!)
The percentage of us tow the line The rest of us out of reach Everybody party time Some of us will never sleep again
Dracula Dracula dracula Dracula dracula
The percentage of us tow the line The rest of us out of reach Everybody party time Some of us will never sleep again
Dracula Dracula dracula Dracula dracula"
