Doris

Doris, the sea goddess, with power so grand, Ruling over the waves with a firm hand, But within her heart, there lies a deep pain, A sorrow that she can never explain.

Her eyes may sparkle like the ocean's hue, But they also hold a sadness so true, For the sea's beauty is marred by its might, And the goddess feels its weight day and night.

Her voice may sing with an ethereal tone, But it also hides a grief that's never shown, For the sea takes what it wills, with no care, And Doris must bear witness to its despair.

So when you see the sea's beauty so vast, Remember the goddess whose love will last, Even through the pain that she endures, Doris, the sea goddess, will always ensure.
