DON'T'BLINK 10,11,12 was exhibited at "Kunstmuseum St. Gallen" as part of Neustart Festival.
DON'T'BLINK contrasts easily perceptible pulses with complex, geometric rhythms. Milian Mori programmed an instrument specifically for this purpose, which allows him to arrange rhythm and timbre at the same time. From this 32 sine tones can be heard, all of which follow a hidden formula and thus form rhythmically unexpected figures over the drums. Binary proportions based on 16th and 32nd notes meet. All works in this series last 3 minutes and 33 seconds and are shown as an installation and as a live performance.
