do not disturb

I'm out on the balcony; I like it outside — it's the only time I get to disconnect from the chain. The digital world behind me now seems to be so far out of reach. The persistent notifications ping my phone; I wonder about how easily it could slip off the edge.

But I'm not like my phone, I couldn't be replaced.

Would he notice if I just stopped replying?

He would never know.
