Distance

Distance is a part of life along the Western Australian coastline. Sometimes images are close to the comforts of home, safety and family. Other images take dedication, time and preparation.

I find my work takes me in many different distances of travel, often the largest travel factor can be the distance from shore. This image was captured along the most remote stretch of coastline I have visited. Away from the noise of everyday life I find my focus to capture images like no other.

As soon as I arrive I find clarity and direction and the purpose becomes clear - the result is pure, raw and untouched.
