Analog drawings, processed digitally; procesed pieces collaged; digital painting.
This work is a part of a larger body of work and experimentation through different media that I call Entropomorphisms. The concept is both a play of words and a framework where different expressive collisions can occur. In different ways I explore play of words, combinations of unlikely elements, crossing in between media, mutiations and transformations, multiplicities of simultanous occurances etc. In this conceptual universe there is a sense of uninterrupted multidimensional story unfolding and elements can be combined and viewed in different ways. Therefore often visual pieces or elements can be integrated into new frames, whole scenes can become details and details can become main scenes, they can cross from digital to analog and move in multiple directions, occur in different mediums and formats orseparate into a multitude of possible new trajectories. This work is based on drawings from 2015. Those were then digitally kneaded in multiple iterations and then combined into a collage together with photos and other elements. This was then dug through digitally and further processed and finished with digital painting and drawing. Digital Shamans is about the insights in the artistsic process itself working with digital media, pixles, screens, virtual realities and portals. So many trajectories are possible in each moment and portals can take us on the journeys through many dimensions – yet mostly always inside ourselves.
