Digital Rising Night

Digital Rising Night depicts a virtual rising and falling of sun and moon, through the transition of digital positive and digital negative image. The idea was to move the viewer through the idea the day represents itself as night on film, and reveal the inverted landscape as a surreal technicolor landscape. The scene of the Ojai Valley in California reveals the terrain as blankets of relief forms, the digital artefacts constructing a kaleidoscope of rainbow transitions in place of the sun or moon rising over the mountainside.
