Digital Heirloom (Cog)

Volume function of two image layers. Initially two images from 3D Scans of 'natural' twigs, branches and debris. This work is part of an ongoing exploration of digital and virtual materiality and their relationship to human gestures (by hand, analog tools, etc.). I am interested how these human gestures are influenced by algorithmic instances such as day to day computing or through software interpretation.
