Digital Diaspora

Vapor ware, corrupted files, lost seed phrases anon trolls and salacious grifters are all part of a larger cultural moment which Victor Reyes refers to as the “Digital Diaspora.” Giga landfill worlds of terabytes and server farms are merely vestiges of the long gone Information Age. Victor Reyes believes we sit at the edge of a new epoch embodied by the Crypto Art movement. A movement that is in lock step with digital proliferation and innovation. Reyes believes we are at a turning of the ages. A point where the meta becomes realer than our recent memory and the past is unrecognizable without the use of our digital selves.
