Diaphaneity (2005)

A very different entry in my flame fractal series; the lines are deceptively simple but the shading suggests many layers of depth. The title refers to the gauzy opacity of silken veils.

These "fractal flames" have an organic complexity all their own and they are some of the more unique renders in my gallery. Others in the series include "Sublimation", "Riven" and "Episteme".
