Goddess Diana for Romans was called Artemis by Greeks. The great huntress and patron of forest and nature. Goddess associated with the Moon. She takes care of everything that lives on earth, grows in the forest and the field. Artemis/Diana is the goddess of forests and hills and all animals living there.
She takes care of people, herds of cattle and wild animals. She blesses the birth and marriage. She was granted ability to help women in the pains of childbirth.
A beautiful maiden with a golden bow and quiver, with a spear in her hands, she hunts in sun-drenched fields and forests.
Her arrows know no miss—woe to him who disturbs her when she rests.
Goddess Diana was the daughter of Zeus. She as a the child asked him 10 wishes which were granted her by Zeus. Thanks to that, Artemis was never forced in marriage. Some would assume that it means that Goddess Diana is asexual, but it more likely that she wanted to have control over her sexuality and don't allow others to dictate their will. She was in love only once with her hunting companion, Orion, but he was tragically killed. Goddess Hecate is one of her favourite companions. As Goddess Hecate, she was the protector of slaves and outlaws who often found shelter in her forest sanctuary.
She cares a lot for girls & women. The Goddess Diana favours Amazons and athletes (especially archers, runners and swimmers).
