Devotion

Devotion is a piece about the things we devoted our time, focus and sometimes even our lives. A short story told with just two subjects, a human head made in glass with its reflection within the head that always look at the skull (the soul) and a skull with a crown made of light (the idol)

I was inspired by adult swim’s “off the air” artistic animations, i love them, some are very simple but inspiring and beautiful form of expression for me, so I thought to give it a try and make my own short artistic animation 🙂 using nothing but my ipad which is my most powerful piece of hardware. The background are individual original abstract pieces in my style, flashing over at 24fps

The song i named it “Lilith’s kiss”i wanted something beautiful but whole, a true 30 seconds song with a beginning, a complication and finally a resolution, and i think i manage to do it! I dedicated days just for that.

With Absolute LOVE, Kavimaz.
