This Fear4Tez interactive art unfolds the harrowing tale of a family that has become trapped in a cycle of violence, hatred, and self-destruction. Suffering and depression lurk in the darkness of their household, becoming curses that follow every step of this family.
Chapter 1 - Stained Harmony
"Sitting together as a faceless family, their false smile seems to hold something behind. In the frame, they appear to love each other, but in reality, hypocrisy is their hidden nature. They have tarnished their identity and bonds with escalating arguments, physical violence, and emotions that damage their relationships. The home, which should be a place of safety and peace, transforms into a battlefield that claims victims. Either in a suicidal way or killing each other, this stained harmony is giving birth to the curse."
Chapter 2 - Gloomy Eulogy
"In death, a profound realization dawns as they grapple with the consequences of their actions. Crying for the unnecessary bloodshed, but unable to turn back time. The spirits of this family are haunted by the stains of the past, reliving the horrors they inflicted on each other. Evil energy of hatred and violence remains, turning them into restless and tormented entities. Bounded by feelings of regret and shame, they wear ancient masks that become their Gloomy Eulogy. Wandering in the endless darkness of night as a ghost of our urban legends."
This collaborative work is a poignant reflection on the fragility of human emotions and the devastating consequences of buried pain and suffering. It underscores the importance of acknowledging and addressing family conflicts. The portrayal of family members turned into vengeful spirits due to their violent actions against each other is a powerful metaphor for the lingering effects of unresolved conflicts within families. It compels us to contemplate the tragic impact of these events on our daily lives, urging us to be more vigilant in offering support and understanding to those facing similar challenges within their households.
