Desire is, like many of my works, a hybrid piece that combines the rarely seen beauty of Persian art with the anatomy and elegance of the human body. The complexity of Persian calligraphy is woven into the composition, becoming almost an extension of the figure itself rather than merely text.
The richly detailed Persian carpet in the background adds another layer of cultural depth, reinforcing the visual identity of the piece.
The calligraphic form integrated with the model is the word “Ilham” (الهام) — a word that can mean inspiration, revelation, or an inner pull toward desire and creation. Through the posture, movement, and overall visual language of the image, I tried to express that invisible force, the deep internal attraction that draws us toward what we seek.
