This artwork will critique the description of the artwork in modern art while simultaneously making its own statement, creating a paradox within itself. Has the concept of art, as we know it, always necessitated explanations? Should art be explained? Is the idea within the artwork that which the artist has created, or is it what the viewer comprehends? Description exists on its own. It might not require an explanation, but will the explanation itself add superficiality or depth to it?
