Departure

A young girl gazes in the setting sun. A fare ware to it's warmth and light. She is not dishearten for she knows it was rise again. Just the same, her loved ones will return. For now all she do is witness their departure.

This is a very special piece for me. It is one of the very first digital paintings I've done like this. It's marks a departure of the more cartoonish style I did prior and the beginning of something more surreal. Painted in 2011
