Fortunately, I have a nephew who has developed an interest in photography and he asked me if I would take him on a photo adventure. In his gear, he had a macro lens and I had asked him if I could use it to try it out, as I have never shot with a macro lens. One of my favorite places in NYS is Wyoming County, a small rural county in Western New York. Wildflowers are in abundance within Wyoming County and this one is located along the bank of a small pond. With this shot, I like to softness of the petals and the striking color of the flower.
