DEFI-ance & Hope

The Nigerian state is designed to oppress, suppress and where possible kill its citizens. The existence of the everyday Nigerian is an act of defiance against the Nigerian state. The everyday Nigerian has not only survived draconian financial policies but thrives through the power for DEFI. This is DEFI-ance, this is hope. This is to mark the shooting of EndSARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate Lagos Nigeria on the 20th October 2020 and a tribute to the resilience of the everyday Nigerian.
