Deer

The deer is one of the most beautiful forest mammals in the world. This herbivorous animal with long, slender legs has excellent balance in running and jumping. Males usually have beautiful, branched antlers that fall off and grow back every year. Deer live in forests, plains, and mountains around the world. They are very alert and fast, and with their strong hearing and smell, they avoid danger. They are a symbol of grace, wild nature, and freedom in many cultures. Reindeer even live in the Arctic and are very important to the natives there.
