I was traveling on Amtrak going from Philadelphia to Hartford and I decided to go to the dining car and have some dinner and this is when the dining car had waiters and a pretty good menu. While I was waiting for my food I looked up and saw David Bowie walk in and since there was no other table available to sit at he asked me if he could sit with me along with a woman and a security guard. No one else in the dining car noticed, probably cause the rest of the dining car was filled with older people and was not a fan of Bowie like I was! So he sat and we talked about his music and while we were eating a guy walked through the dining car wearing painter's pants. David whispered something to his body guard who got up and followed the guy and a few minutes later came back with the pants the guy was wearing! After dinner I had asked if I could take a photo of Bowie but he said I could only take one shot with no flash so we moved to the bar car and that is the show I was able to get with my Leica M3 with no flash or meter.
