The south coast of Western Australia is one of the wildest stretches of ocean on the planet. This was the very first time I swam and shot in this location. Still to this day I would call this the scariest environment I have put myself in.
When swimming out here your mind is never at ease. What lurks below? Am I in the right position for the next wave? That reef looks really sharp. Often times I have swum back to my jetski defeated by my own mind. But not this time.
"Darkness" is an image that represents what is in my head at times when I shoot this particular place. I hope you enjoy it.
