DANG weaponizes its 8-bit, lo-fi aesthetic as a form of "glitch as rebellion." The piece captures a chaotic, gathering storm, a mass of pixelated, analog disorder. It reclaims a co-opted internet mascot, pulling the figure back from the brink by filtering it through obsolete hardware. The machine's failure becomes the new, vibrant signal.
