Ballet is poetry written with the body; where gravity momentarily shys away, and for a few minutes, man becomes a bird of light and silk. Every pirouette is a turn that confuses time, every arabesque, a bird spreading its wings in the embrace of the wind, and every point, a gentle kiss on the forehead of the earth, that says: "I am heavy, but I choose to be light."
