"Dakshineswar Temple" Original B/W Photograph Dec. 2012 w/ added digital Color & Noise

This digital painting was created by hand-layering digital color and noise effects on top of a high-contrast B/W photograph, in the manner of a silkscreen.

I took this photograph of Dakshineswar Temple in December 2012 while traveling in Kolkata. The original photo was remarkable, but this super-saturated version works better as an NFT. Pixelation and Blurring effects were sought out to give the piece a blown-out glitchy pop-art feeling.
