Crystalis is a digital artwork based on my original sculpture — a hand-formed sphere composed of beach pebbles, each carefully selected and fused into a rough orb. The surface is gilded in gold leaf, save for one exposed stone revealing its raw crystalline interior — a quiet reward for close attention.
In this digital version, the sphere is encased in a translucent resin cube, becoming both specimen and shrine. The resin preserves the form while elevating it into a suspended state — a timeless, contemplative object caught between nature and artifice.
Crystalis is a meditation on value, transformation, and the mystery hidden within ordinary things. It holds stillness, story, and light — a relic from the shore, sealed in gold and memory.
