La Blouse Roumaine is for sure one of the strongest representative pieces of Romanian folklore and a symbol of universal femininity. Each one is unique, similar to a fingerprint. They are made of white cotton cloth, flax or silk and adorned with Romanian embroidery motifs, especially at the sleeves, chest and neck. The floral patterns are numerous and tell never-ending stories about the history of femininity in this part of the world.
