Jimmy is a female Golden Eagle who had a rough start in life : her egg was taken from her mom’s nest by people who thought it would be cool to have an eagle as a pet.

When it dawned on them that it was not such a great idea, they had to rehome her since she could not adapt to the unknown life in the wild, lacking the skills needed to provide for herself.

Luckily for her, that’s when the wonderful staff at Zoo Ecomuseum (https://zooecomuseum.ca/en/) stepped in and gave her a respectfully crafted habitat.
