This one took me quite some time.
It was a bit difficult to finish, to be honest, as my vision for this piece would not be suppressed, and involved quite a bit more manual editing the filter output than I originally intended. But when I saw the partial output (Imagine cropping the "crystal" by 30% at each corner, leaving unfinished edges), I just couldn't leave it like that. So, I sat down, over 4 days in the evenings, and used GIMP to cut and paste small, tiny fragments from different places in the artwork to complete it, while hiding as much as possible that the new parts hadn't always been a part of the artwork.
Oh, and I nearly forgot. This #cryptoartwork was made ENTIRELY from applying different art filters to... a blank GIMP canvas ! It's truly incredible what can be achieved when you extract and refine patterns, even when the starting point is just a single color !
