Under Elowen's leadership and the guidance of the white crow, the Corvian Riders found renewed strength and determination, ready to face the challenges ahead and bring light to the darkness that threatened their world.
Opposing Elowen in her reunion with the Corvian Riders was a formidable and malevolent entity known as Shadow Emperor. He summoned the Shadowbinder, a powerful rebel sorceress who was imprisoned In the depths of Shadowfell in a place known as the Umbral Abyss. This abyss was a desolate and nightmarish realm, where the very essence of darkness and despair seemed to come to life.
The Shadowbinder's banishment to the Umbral Abyss came as a result of her attempts to harness the darkest and most forbidden forms of shadow magic. She had sought to wield the power of the Shadowfell for her own selfish purposes, delving into forbidden incantations that threatened to unleash untold horrors upon both the Shadowfell and the mortal world.
Through a series of dark bargains and promises of serving the Shadow Emperor's interests, the Shadowbinder managed to convince him to release her from the Umbral Abyss. In exchange for her freedom, she vowed to use her dark magic to further the Shadow Emperor's own shadowy agenda, which involved spreading darkness and despair throughout the realms of elves and Daylighters.
Thus, the Shadowbinder returned to the world, now even more powerful and aligned with the Shadow Emperor's malevolent plans. Her release from the Umbral Abyss marked a new chapter in her dark journey, as she continued to sow discord and chaos, all while serving the interests of the shadowy ruler who had granted her a second chance at wielding forbidden power.
Now her name was Shadowbinder and even the Emperor Of Shadow was afraid of her. She smirked thinking of it, as the first beams of rising sun were coloring her ash hair into dusky pink and lilac. Once her hair was black and shiny, like liquid obsidian, but endless years in captivity changed it. Not the blade of her will though - she didn't bend and was ready to pursue her mysterious goals.
She never revealed her secret to anyone. Neither when her white corvus Snowstorm died in the reckless experiment they were conducting together in the depths of Shadowfell, nor when her own people, horrified with what she did expelled her and made the elven temple hide her story from the alumni, nor when she was captured by the Shadow Emperor and thrown into the Abyss for endless centuries. She meditated and honed her skill, talking to the Snowstorm inside her head.
She rised up on her feet, spreading her pearl white wings and soared in the sky, getting lost among the feather like clouds of the new dawn of her freedom.
