Cornflower under UV light (UVIVF) — About UVIVF : Higher energy light in the ultraviolet spectrum strikes the flower and exciting electrons in atoms in it. This energy forces the electrons into a higher orbit. We see this energy as visible light and call the phenomenon fluorescence.
