Contemplation

Is consciousness proof that our reality holds higher dimensions than the three we are so familiar with? The experience of consciousness feels very real. We know it exists. But we can't touch it or see it. Where does consciousness reside? Is it only the combination of chemical signals travelling through the brain? Or are our minds part of something much bigger? Does it exist outside the limits of this three-dimensional reality?
