Consciousness Mover

The Consciousness Mover, the first piece from the “Transparency Collection”, is an imaginary prototype that allows consciousness to move as data from one body (mechanical or organic) to another, transported by a ray of light. This piece invites the questions: at what point does matter break down into data? Does our consciousness contain a soul, or are we a conglomerate of data? If the latter, can this data be transferred? And, if we are both data and soul, what happens when only data is transferred?
