"Mother" has many avatars, but in this particular era, she becomes Sensai too. Raising children to strengthen themselves from the inside by teaching them they can defeat their fears by facing all their worst wounds. I read somewhere once that a society that cannot protect its children cannot protect its own future and is destined to die.

It is a hard thing to raise a child with hope but with authenticity with imagination yet with veracity, on a planet this is slowly beginning to sound less like Earth and more like a war cry."
