Cold Flame

"Cold flame" is the result of my collaboration with the French photographer Kytao, owner of the photo studio "French cut". Cold flame is the representation of a synthetic being on which we can see a strange shape on the face evoking a flame. These forms which appear on the face of the androids are observable throughout the world these last months but nobody knows the reason of their presence. Some believe that this flame appears when the android's desire to live becomes strong and that these flames are the manifestation of this desire to live. This calls into question the very definition of life... can an artificially manufactured being be considered as a living being? And finally, what makes us sensitive beings and more simply, human beings?
