This piece was originally inspired by the texture zebras have. I wanted to combine the freedom that zebras have in their habitat with the people around the world at this moment in time. As you all know we are stuck in a pandemic where people are static and cant move around freely like before. This pandemic gave us the chance to explore ourselves a little bit more than usual, it gave us the chance to spend more time with ourselves and our mind (a true 1vs1). I made the circular shapes move apart from the body, that represents the space and time we had to work and focus on each and every part of our mind, body and things around us. The red/pink elements of the painting represent all the negativity and negative energy going away from our body.
