The circle is dedicated to a major Facebook collapse.

The current disruption to Facebook's services has been the most significant and prolonged since 2008.

The domain facebook.com is for sale on the Whois site, which specializes in such deals. It must be more than just a simple crash.

The DNS records for Facebook.com or Instagram.com have disappeared from the global routing tables. This could be due to internal system changes or unwanted update results.

Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp have been down for more than five hours at the time the Circle was being minted.
