Chasing Light

Walking paths that others made Following a light that never fades Every step a quiet prayer Carried on the morning air

I can feel it getting near Something calling crystal clear

Rising rising softly rising Chasing light chasing light

I'm chasing light through the trees Chasing light chasing peace Every shadow falls away I'm chasing light into the day

Rivers carve their ancient song Nothing here has ever gone wrong Every breath a step ahead Following the path we've read

I can feel it getting near Something calling crystal clear

Rising rising softly rising

Chasing light chasing light higher now

I'm chasing light through the trees Chasing light chasing peace Every shadow falls away I'm chasing light into the day
