Chaos

I spend most of my time roaming around California searching for unique compositions and rare conditions. On this day I found myself in Yosemite Valley with a difficult decision to make, do I drive to the Eastern Sierra where I know the warm air will build into afternoon storms or gamble on Washburn Point along Glacier Point Road which has a perfect alinement with Half Dome. I followed my intuition and ended up with one of my favorite images to date.
