Chaos and Candy II
Welcome, welcome to our park! A place on earth of grand remark! Where every single stone was sculpted, and growth is never interrupted.
Welcome to the land of eve! Where buzzing coolers hide the screams of all the paramedic teams in this place once built for dreams.
Come and play! Attractions are plenty, each one designed to take every last penny. Welcome to distraction land! The place that feeds from your demand.
So many colors compete for your sight: lights and music, left and right. A land where there’s no quiet at night, but If you look closely things ain't so bright.
Only scratches on the surface but fisuras deep inside. This foundation, oh mamita, hundred per cent about to crack. Like a house of humid cards, a rather weak and feeble stack, only held up by some speeches, all as sound as quack quack quack.
Something's rotten in this park. Something growing, something dark. If you ever see some cracks: fill them up! Fill them up! Fill them with… glue! Corazón que no siente… Dont leave a clue! Impending doom? None to be seen. Cassandra was payed off by some magazine
Something flows in this made up town. It ain't the water cause water so brown from all the children that ever have drowned (even Ofelias in their wedding gowns).
You wanted happy, and you wanted fast, dismissing the steps to make those things last. We are building for newness, let's go in a blast. We won't be the ones building a past.
You wanna be fly, you wanna nonstop, and while you are distracted with circus and chalk, we´ll take your wallet, your shoes, and your clock. Even our candy is sponsored by Glock!
Kings are the ones who own a fast pass , but how can you be royal when you are one from the mass? If you pay enough we might let you kill! Pushing the buttons that your soul might fill. It’s all for the rush, all in order to feel. Do you sign here? Do we have a deal?
Under terms and conditions you'll find ammunition but please…
Stay seated for this ride. We can't guarantee you'll get to come back.
Fill in the void, with love made of plaster. Don’t mix with water or else big disaster. And once you are full, the rug we will pull, we were always a wolf dressed as a bull:
Instant gratification. Instagram deification. Chasing after ghost sensations, skipping all the conversations. We don't talk 'bout the situation. We don't need no education. Just some big people concentration, and, of course, passive participation.
A horde of zombies, here they come! Footsteps loud as martial drums. Humming voices fill the air, not a single flying care. To be fair they are not aware that war has already been declared, by beings displaced due unfair treaties, paid with sorrow and half baked pities.
How much did you burn to earn your plot of land? How much are you growing in your fields made of sand? Always for the conquest shouting: let's expand the brand! But did you ever stop to just look around? Did you ever notice, now, where you stand?
King of the desert, left no home for other souls. Poured gasoline down through every single hole. “People like explosions, those score higher on the polls!” There’s no love in las caricias of a hand that all controls.
Organic ain’t attractive, at least not all of the time, if not ask the caterpillar while its hanging upside down. You can build a reputation with no need to have a crown. It is better to be no-one than to be an evil clown.
Down there the mutants, the ones cast away, their new life is forming with other ways. Stunted by cold, in shadow they grew, like moss and like ivy, like thick stew and flu. In sewers they built their underground town: all that were born, were born deaf and blind. But learning the language of slow tactile gestures, they created a tongue of lyrics and questions.
"Why are we down here? Who put us here? We are children of greed and hate's our seed. This is our land and spring we demand! We may not have bones but together we stand!"
A landing place, a quay. An army of rats in patient array. Coming at you, with the promise of fame, all that ass kissing has made your mouth lame! A knot in the throat, a stiff stone for tongue, you could never utter the words “I belong”.
